The Don't Ask Don't Tell Repeal Act of 2010 has been signed ! Gay men and Women can now actively serve in the military. GAYS ITS TIME TO POWER UP ! I guess we will see in the future how this effects our military power.

My Purrspective is that WHO FREAKIN' CARES !!!! I'm thinking the more people we have the better position we will be in. I never understood the Don't Ask Don't Tell policy. Who would really say NO to someone who wants to help our great country fight in a time of war. Who would deny someone's Loyalty and Patriotism, and all because of someone's sexual orientation. But really I hope this works ! Hopefully the flamers (extra gay people) don't ruin it, running around with rainbow colored AK's and driving in pink tanks! No but seriously straight people, stop thinking every gay person likes the color pink. I for one despise it.

First it was African Americans, then Women, and now openly Gay people. America has yet made another stride towards EQUALITY ! That's my Purrspective !

Wow.... Miley Cyrus sure has grown up, makes me feel old. So Cyrus recently turned 18 years old! Something I saw caught me by surprise though about the teen star. This video ! Video shows Miley hitting a bong! All you see is smoke inhalation ! Sources also tell me that it was not what I thought it was (Mary Jane).....yeah right! Instead it was supposedly salvia which is a type of sage.(legal green) After a few hits Miley explodes into laughter and thats the story. Now that she hit it, will she quit it, or just sing about it ? I wonder if Hannah Montana likes to get high too? So yeah I'm sure this girl is in a little bit of trouble, even though we can blame it on the fact that she's going through a rough patch. I mean with her parents separation and all because of her mother's affair with Bret Michaels (clears throat) who wouldn't be hittin' something.  I hope that we don't have another Spears or Lohan on our hands!

As hard as it is to feel myself writing about female rappers, I'm going to indulge and just have fun with it. I've never really had a favorite female rapper but I guess I can put her in that spot, Nicki Minaj. Nicki is filled with a bubbly, Vivacious, Slap-U-N-the-Eye attitude and she does not care of what you or anyone thinks of her, Why ?

OK.... Thank you Nicki.....Anyways she released her Pink Friday album last month in November. This rapper-ess features artists such as Eminem (annoying) , Kanye West (the devil), and Natasha Bedingfield(where she been)and others. Currently topping #8 on Billboard this artist will have you trying to repeat every acidic Alliteration and Rhymes spewing from her mouth. Minaj, the new fad, will most likely be consumed and collaborate with numerous artist, as she has already begun doing because of her style which is New and Fresh.... at the Moment.

Generation Y stands for "Y US" ! Green is Good, Green is Great.....well from what I heard. Money seems to rule the Universe, well too bad many of us haven't got to be in that same Universe. As present students we find it hard to get a helping hand. Yeah there's financial aid, but ummmmm that doesn't pay for everything now does it? NO ! Now if you were born with a "silver spoon" then you might find this "OMG really," yeah its true, most of us have to work to get what we want. Well it starts with our parents and their decisions. Their choices do readily affect our lives in a way, especially financially. Its like a cycle called poverty. Loans, loans, & more loans, Subsidized & Unsubsidized, yea yea yea. One word to describe that = DEBT. Mommy and Daddy's credit determines your eligibility for these types of loans as well. Wouldn't it be wonderful if your parents had saved up for your education? Well that doesn't work with everyone. Job here and there, studying, the constant stress of everyday life bares us, always searching for help and answers. This economy is presently not doing so hott right now, and if you just sit there and do nothing then you will find yourself being swallowed by life. My suggestion is you swallow it before it does. In order to not become our parents you have to be smart and plan. Does planning ever go right, hell no, but it will start you in the right direction and that's the least you can give yourself, because guess what, no one else will. The current presidency promises us lower interest rates on student loans but I wouldn't wait on that. So in the meantime keep hustling and bustling, and staying on your "Grind" !  Just remember not to fall in the hole, and if your in it, call for a rope....cause your gonna need it son ! That's my Purrspective ................... can I borrow $5 ???

His clothes smell like arrogance and his strut is prideful. "Thanks for the movie, I had a great time," you announce about to escort yourself out his prized possession. He keeps you inside for a few minutes to talk but you don't mind a little conversation.As he talks you notice he gets closer and closer. Don't mind the perfect white teeth nor even notice the smell of Wintergreen rolling off his tongue. Don't let his words entice you because you know he's up to no good. Question is are you going to give him his meal he has been waiting for all night?  The popcorn wasn't enough for his luxurious spacious back seat..... WAIT !   What's this ? The automobiles passenger side door is opening . Victory! You watch as your tempter speeds down the street, with the broken roar of his engine as he retreats in defeat. You won girl ! My Purrspective is be proud you didn't allow the boy with the Nice car take you Very far ! (thumbs up)

Bullying Buzz

The media seems to be wrapped around this never leaving issue on bullying. In today's World bullying seems to be advancing as fast as our technology. New ways of bullying can be in many different forms: videos, photos, audio recordings, and all can be found on the Internet ! I think they call it cyber bullying? Either way its still here and in my purrspective has not gotten any better. Can it get better? Or is it just human nature to do so, perhaps survival of the fittest! Kids get bullied from being different in some kind of way, shape, form, or fashion. The words wimp, fat, skinny, ugly, dumb, nerd are different words kids use to bully each other. Young adults use the Internet more such as Facebook, Twitter, or Youtube to do their dirty work. As a result we have an increase in suicidal rates which is not cool. With the recent suicides I believe that its OUR part to help stop this by simply Not taking part in bullying and lets put a smile on every one's face we come into contact with, who knows what kind of day they had !!!!

Today Is the Day I Tell Her Im GAY !!!!!

Years, and years of being asked "Are you gay, is that your boyfriend, is that my perfume I smell on you ?" I finally let the cat out of the bag and told my Mother dearest. She said everything I thought she say. I don't believe she was shocked, more like your finally telling me the honest truth as if i didn't know. If you knew me you know Im not the most masculine male that there is on the face of the planet, let alone my street. She rambled on about her beliefs and opinions, which was expected. I sat there trying to plead my case even though I knew no one would win the argument. I have to tell you I do feel a little bit better as if a weight lifted off my shoulder, but then im thinking, has it been lifted to only have it carried over my head. At this point I feel like Atlas, bearing the World on his shoulders. But im going to be smarter than Atas, im going to sit right on top of the World, Why carry all that Weight ????? Thats just My Purrspective !
